JACKSON TN CRAFT CLUB / VENDOR INFORMATION

WHO:

 I’m Danielle Pierce, a local fashion and textile designer. I just started Jackson TN Craft Club to connect with other creatives and makers in the West Tennessee area. I am looking for vendors for a pop-up shop I am hosting in Old Hickory Mall. I am focusing on handmade items such as clothing, accessories, jewelry, body care items, candles, artwork, and more.  However, if space allows, I would be happy to host local boutiques in the pop-up space as well. 

 

WHAT: 

The Jackson Craft Club’s Holiday Shop is a 7-day pop-up shop located in Old Hickory Mall in Jackson TN. The space is fitted with a cash wrap, tables, clothing racks, walls with movable shelves, various display cases and fixtures, and even a fitting room.

  

WHEN:

         The pop-up shop opens on Monday, November 15th and the last day to shop is Sunday, November 2st. Set up is Sunday November 14th. We will be open regular mall hours- Monday thru Thursday 10a- 9p. Sunday 12p-6p.

PRICING

 

Pricing for the entire week is $105. This includes one floor fixture OR 1 wall block ( map  to follow). If multiple fixtures or blocks are needed, you do have the option of reserving more than 1. The $105 pricing will apply to all additional fixtures/blocks.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

 

- Applications must be submitted.

- Vendors must sign Sales Agreement. 

- Must make payment in full to reserve space. Last day to reserve is Sunday , November 7st. 

- Must be able to set up your unit on Sunday, November 14thbetween 9am - 1pm. 

- Break Down is Sunday night at 6pm. All items must be picked up Sunday, November 21st from 6-8p. 

 

 

INFO FOR SELLERS 

 

·      Each vendor is responsible for his or her own set-up and teardown. We encourage branded items such as business cards or a sign with your logo to differentiate your display from other sellers. 

·      Myself and/or my partner will staff the shop during all open hours, so vendors do not have to be there while the pop-up shop is open. Vendors are welcome to come and staff the shop at any time during open hours in order to interact with customers, upkeep their section, check out the traffic in the mall, as well as shop the other vendor’s units. If you can’t do this during the week, it is highly recommended that you are here to staff your shop (sell your products) on Saturday and Sunday during the busiest hours- 12 noon to 6 pm. While we will try our best to provide customers with as much info about your product as we can, we know that YOU can sell your product the best.  

·      Vendors must provide a detailed inventory log of all items submitted for sale in the pop-up shop. Items must be priced either on the item itself, a sign on the table, or in the inventory log. This will insure that all items are accounted for at the end of the pop-up. 

 

 

·      Customers will be able to pay in cash, and credit/debit via Square. Taxes will NOT be charged on all transactions- cash and card.

 

·      On Monday, November 22nd, a full written sales report will be sent to each vendor detailing all items sold and the total due to seller.  Seller will be paid the full selling price of all sold items, minus any credit card processing fees of 3% plus .25 per transaction. I, Danielle Pierce and Jackson Craft Club as an organization, do NOT retain any of the funds from your sold items. Payment to vendors will be made through money order, or your preferred electronic avenue (PayPal or Cash App).

·      If you receive direct payments - cash or otherwise- while you are staffing your own unit in the pop-up shop, we just ask that you still record details of the transaction. This is for sales reporting to Old Hickory Mall in observance of our lease agreement. This also ensures your inventory log will be properly adjusted.

 

·      If requested, we can send vendors a daily sales update to keep you informed. 

  

·      We recommend promoting your pop-up shop on social media.  

VENDOR RESTRICTIONS:

  • Sale of Firearms or tasers/stun guns are not allowed.

  • Sale of tobacco products, vapes, etc are not allowed.

  • Explicit items, adult toys, or items depicting lewd acts are not allowed.

  • Food service is not allowed on the premises. Prepackaged foods must be prepared and packaged offsite and must be sealed and labeled.
